Vicente “Vinnie” Molina-Figueroa passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home in River Edge, NJ. He was 80 years old.
Vicente was born January 29, 1940 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Igenio and Marceline (Figueroa) Molina. “Vinnie” left Puerto Rico when he was 17 years old with only $17.00 in his pocket to pursue a life in the United States. He worked for the Masons Union in New York City. In 1966 he met his wife Alma (Corteguera), and they were married August 29th that same year. In 1971 Vicente and Alma moved to River Edge, NJ with their two children. He was employed with Kriegman and Smith, and was the Resident Manager at Continental Gardens for over 45 years.
Vicente is survived by his wife Alma of 54 years, and his two children, Vicente “Vinny” Molina Jr. and his wife Jackie, and Lisa Taglienti and her husband Tom. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Vincent, Isabella, Thomas and Joseph, whom he absolutely adored.
