Valerie C. Stephen (née Colucci), 64, of River Edge, NJ, died peacefully on September 13th, 2021. Valerie was cherished by her husband Richard Stephen. A loving mother to her three daughters, Amanda Stephen and her fiancé Hygor Lopes, Alyssa Stephen, Alison Servideo and her husband Michael Servideo. She is predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Maxwell and Irene Stephen. Valerie was a beloved sister-in-law to Lois and Gary Stephen. Devoted Aunt to Scott Stephen and his wife Erin Stephen, Kristen Kuiken and her husband Matt Kuiken and. Great Aunt to Charley Kuiken, Cecelia Stephen, Boden Kuiken, Maxwell Stephen, and Sadie Kuiken.
Valerie was an angelic soul who loved her family dearly and was involved with her children through many community activities. She also served her community as a former member of the River Edge Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the past president of the River Edge Girls Athletic League.
She was employed as a data service representative at Valley National Bank of Wayne, NJ. She spent most of her professional career working for Hudson City Savings Bank of Paramus, NJ.
Funeral Mass Friday, September 17th, 10 AM at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 300 Elm Street, Oradell. Cremation is private. Visiting Thursday, September 16th, 4-8 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.
