Rosemary N. Magarelli (née Izzo), 91, of New Milford, died peacefully on February 23, 2022 in the comfort of her own home.  Predeceased by her husband, Corrado Magarelli (1975).  Loving mother of Thomas Magarelli, Jana Tancredi and her husband John.  Cherished grandmother of Ashlee and John Jr.  Dear sister of Anthony Izzo and his wife Mary.

Rosemary was born in Brooklyn, NY to Jennie (née La Rosa) and Anthony Izzo Sr., and raised in River Edge.  She was employed with the Abraham & Straus Department Store in Paramus for many years.  Rosemary was a parishioner and active member of St. Peter the Apostle Church for over 75 years.  She was a member of the church choir, the quilting group, and a Eucharistic Minister, as well as the President of the New Milford High School Band Booster, and a member of the New Milford Swim Club.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her cats, and travelling with her S.M.I.L.E. Group friends.

Visiting Sunday 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Rd., River Edge.  Funeral Mass Monday, 10 AM, St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church.  Rosemary will be laid to rest with her husband at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
