Janis Marie Kott (nee Witt) 75, formerly of Saddle Brook and Lodi passed away peacefully on November 26th 2022. Born in Jersey City, Janis grew up in Saddle Brook and graduated from Saddle Brook High School before attending Art School. Once married, Janis moved to Lodi and raised her family there living in town for over 30 years. Before retiring she worked for many years at both Portrait Arts Studio, and PCF in Hackensack, as well as both EPAC and Quest Fitness.  Janis is preceded in death by her dear sister Karen Zincavage (nee Witt). Mother to daughters Dayna Kott, and Regina Paneque (nee Kott) and her husband Jason. Loving grandmother to Kris Planker, and Wyatt Paneque. 

The family will receive friends from Friday December 2nd from 3-6 at Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Rd., River Edge, NJ. Private cremation and internment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Janis’ memory to woundedwarriorproject.org or St Jude.org.
