Helen Hill (née Griffith), 94, of New Milford, died peacefully on June 29, 2022. Predeceased by her husband, Henry Hill. Survived by her nephews, Martin, Dennis, James, and nieces, Patricia Santa Maria and her husband Larry), Agnes Schmon and her husband Thomas, Helen Lyons, and Carolyn Lyons, and many great grandnieces and grand nephews. Predeceased by her nephews, William and Kevin Lyons.
Helen was born in New York City to Mary (née Radigan) and Martin Griffith. She was a check processor for many years with the Institute Elec-Elctro-Engineers of Piscataway. Helen enjoyed Irish heritage music, engaging in card games with “the Griffith girls”, and was a great lover of animals. Visiting Friday, July 1st, 4-8 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 2nd, 12 Noon at St. John’s R.C. Church, Bergenfield. Cremation is private.
