Elene G. Kennelly (née Sheridan), 91, of River Edge, died peacefully on March 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph G. Kennelly (2016) and her sister, Marion Sheridan. Survived by her devoted children, Joseph G. (Rosemary) Kennelly, James H. (Carol) Kennelly, Mary Jane Kennelly, and Marion Kennelly. Cherished Nan of Michael and Daniel Kennelly. Elene is also survived by her endeared sister, Mariann Bradley (John).
Elene was born in Jersey City, NJ to Genevieve (née Kelly) and Harold Sheridan. Elene graduated from St. Michael’s High School and Drake College of Business, Jersey City. She loved her family and was a good and kind friend and neighbor.
At the family’s request, visitation and burial will be private. All are invited to attend the Funeral Mass Monday, March 8th, 10:30 AM at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, River Edge.
