Cira Carmen Elena Verna, “Helen” of Paramus, formerly of River Edge, N.J. entered into eternal life on March 8, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Yves Verna. Devoted mother of Angela J. Cocuzza and the late Vincent Cocuzza. Cherished grandmother of Danielle Elena Cocuzza, and David V. Cocuzza and his wife Sharon. Great-grandmother of Nicholas G. Navarro, Michael V. Cocuzza and Alexander D. Cocuzza. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Before retiring she was a Spanish/English teacher in Spain, and for adults in Ridgewood and Hackensack Schools systems.

She was a parishioner of St. Peter’s the Apostle Church, River Edge, and a member of the River Edge Women’s Club.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, River Edge, N.J. on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4-8 P.M. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 10 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Church, River Edge, N.J.
