Bartholomew Mugan, 85, of River Edge, died peacefully on April 8th, 2024. Beloved husband to Ann “Nancy” for 52 years.  Devoted father of Maryann Komar (Kevin), Maureen Clewley (James), and Timothy Mugan (Rosemary).  Cherished PopPop to Brendan and Meghan Komar, Evelyn and James Clewley III, and Maria and Vivienne Mugan.  Dear brother of the late Peter Mugan, Stephen Mugan, Thomas Mugan, and John Mugan.  Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bart was born in New York City to Delia and Stephen Mugan.  He worked for the New York City Transit Authority for 42 years. He moved to River Edge to raise his family in 1980.  He was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Parish in River Edge.  He will be missed by many friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 11th, from 4 PM-8 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 12th, at 10 AM at St. Peter The Apostle R.C. Church, 445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ.  Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
