Patricia A. Wagenhals, 68, of River Edge, died January 26, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Fredrick Wagenhals. Devoted mother of Christopher and Gerard Wagenhals, Beth Chinigo and her husband Dario, and adoptive son, Nick Borelli. Cherished Gagi of Julia, Xander and Evangeline Chinigo. Dear sister of Mary Jo Byrne, Laura Henar (Paul), Regina Byrne-Thorne, Elaine Smith (Jim) and Christine Elkow (Mike). Also survived by nieces and nephews, Nancy-Lynn, Michael, Thomas, Kristen, Nikki, Colleen, Ryan, Lucas, Caitie, Ashley and Sarah.
Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Mary (née Lawless) and Thomas Byrne. She was a graduate of Queens General Hospital School of Nursing, was a Registered Nurse and Personnel Manager with Macy’s of Eatontown, and a private duty nurse later in her career. Pat enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, chasing unicorns and was a trusted friend to many. She was truly the “life of the party” and will be missed every day.
Visitation Wednesday, January 30th, 4-8 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge. Funeral Mass Thursday, January 31st, 9:30 AM, St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, River Edge. Interment at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport, NJ.
