Joseph P. Savino, 85, of River Edge, passed away at home on June 2, 2024. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose Savino (2017). Loving father of Joseph A. Savino and his wife Larissa. Cherished grandfather of Annelise Savino. Dear brother of Annamarie Greek.
Joseph was born in Jersey City, NJ to Phyllis (née Pizzuto) and Joseph Savino. He was an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry with Singer Kearfott for many years.
Joe enjoyed playing jazz standards on the piano for his family after every holiday dinner. He was also a master martini mixologist. If you had one of his drinks, you would have remembered it, and most likely forgotten everything after it.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 5th, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge. Funeral Mass follows at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, River Edge. Entombment at Garden of Memories, Washington Township.
