Gary A. Lucchesi, 75, of River Edge, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2023. Loving father of Adam Lucchesi and daughter-in-law Jaclyn Mulligan. Cherished grandfather of Enzo and Colton. Dear uncle of Ricky and Norelyn Herbert. Predeceased by his sister, Lenore Herbert.

Gary was born to Eleanor (née Brock) and Adam Lucchesi in the Bronx, NY. He earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY. Gary was an Army veteran, and a Lieutenant in the River Vale Police Dept., retiring in 1995. After retiring he proudly worked at Palmer Bros. Hardware in River Edge. Gary’s hobby and passion was automobiles. Old cars, new cars or anywhere in between, he loved them and found friendship in the people that shared the hobby. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

All services were private and under the direction of the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, River Edge.
