Richard D. Ilg, 82, of River Edge, NJ died peacefully on October 24, 2022 surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of 48 years to Joan M. (née Balestrieri).  Loving father of Chris (Kathryn) Ilg and Danielle Ilg.  Cherished grandfather of Caroline and Timothy.

Richard was born in Orange, NJ to Rose (née Toresky) and Henry Ilg.  He was a controller with BMW of Manhattan for many years.

Visitation Thursday, October 27, 2022, 2-6 PM, with a funeral service at 4:30 PM, at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.  Cremation is private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory may be made to the Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Foundation or River Edge PBA Local 201.
