Peter W. Jerlinski, 72, of River Edge, passed away on January 12, 2024. Beloved husband of Ann Marie Jerlinski. Loving father of daughters, Elizabeth (Justin) Woods, Sheila Sabella, and Laura Jerlinski and her fiance, Devin Hudson. Cherished brother of Linda Spencer and Jodi (Steve) Lenkel, and brother-in-law of Vicki Jerlinski. Predeceased by his brother Richard Jerlinski and his parents, Joan and Peter Jerlinski. He is also survived by his five loving grandchildren, Daniella, Dominick, and P.J. Woods, and Jordan and Reagen Sabella.
Peter was born to Peter Edward Jerlinski and Eleanor Joan Schenck on September 12, 1951 in Teaneck, NJ. After his years of education, he acquired his Associate’s Degree. Peter dedicated his work life to his positions in the Moving Industry. He began his career driving a tractor trailer across the country for many years and worked his way to a General Manager position for Holman United Van Lines in Hackensack. He later retired in 2011. He was forever a loyal and loving family man, who will be fondly remembered.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 4 PM-8 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Rd, River Edge, NJ 07661. Memorial Mass Friday, January 19th, 11 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 445 5th Ave, River Edge, NJ 07661. All who wish to attend the mass are asked to meet directly at the Church no later than 10:45 AM.
