Katherine Albano, (née Czarneski), 90, of Oradell, passed away on October 17, 2026. Katherine was born in Jersey City, NJ to Anna (née Urhrin) and Michael Czarneski and was a resident of Oradell for over 60 years. Katherine is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, John V. Albano (2024) and son, John V. Albano Jr. (2002). She is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie Albano (Tony) of Emerson, a grandson Michael Albano of Oradell, a brother Robert Czarneski (Judith) of Jamesburg, a sister Mary Ann Angerstein (Diane) of Manahawken, and several nieces and nephews.

Katherine (Kitty) was a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother. She relished being a homemaker and worked as a keypunch operator for Stern Brothers in Paramus, NJ, and hostess in the restaurant at Abraham & Straus in Paramus, NJ.  She took pleasure in her trips abroad, going to the movies, garage sales, playing cards, and savored malted milk shakes from Conrad’s Confectionary in Westwood, NJ.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 300 Elm Street, Oradell.  Interment Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah.
