Joan DeLa Hoz (née Regan) 63, of Willingboro, NJ (formerly of River Edge) sadly passed away on July 4th.  Predeceased by her parents Daniel J. Regan and Bernadette (née Carney) and her adored brother Johnny.  Loving wife to Carlos DeLaHoz of 39 years and devoted mother of her two sons, Christopher Daniel and Andrew Carlos.  Cherished sister of James P. Regan, Daniel (Karen) Regan, Eileen (Jim) Heuer and Noreen (Mike) Pfohl. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, aunts and uncles.

Joanie was born in New York City and raised in River Edge, NJ.  She attended the Parisian Beauty School and became a talented hairdresser prior to devoting her life to raising her family.  She led each interaction with sweetness, kindness and had a heart of gold.  She was very artistic and enjoyed painting.  She also enjoyed seeing the vibrant red Cardinal bird as it held such a loving remembrance of knowing a departed loved one was near. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

A celebration of Joanie’s life will be held on Sunday, July 9th, 3-7 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, NJ.  A prayer service will be held at 3:15 PM.
