Wing Lee, 85, of River Edge, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on March 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, three children and their spouses, and four cherished grandchildren.
Born in Hong Kong, China, in 1939, Wing was an only child who pursued his education with determination and passion. He earned his undergraduate degree from City College New York, followed by a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from NYU, and a second Master’s degree in computer engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Wing dedicated his career to Bendix/Allied Signal/Honeywell, where he
worked tirelessly until his retirement.
Those who knew Wing will remember him as loud, funny, and full of life. He was hardworking, intense at times, yet knew when to embrace spontaneity. He was never shy about speaking his mind, whether or not you were ready to hear it. Wing’s passions included travel, family gatherings, and indulging in his love of food and the
stock market.
Wing truly lived a soul-led life. He followed his heart, blazed his own trail, and made a lasting impact on those around him. He embraced life fully and left no room for regret. Helping others brought him purpose and fulfillment. In the end, Wing achieved his final wish — to pass away peacefully at home, surrounded by those he loved most. While his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the countless lessons he
shared and the treasured memories that will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Visitation Thursday, March 27th, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 12:00 Noon at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge. Cremation is private.
