Susan Marie Seidman, 68, of Oradell, NJ died on November 19, 2021 in the presence of family devastated by the loss. She had valiantly fought against a terrible disease, ovarian cancer, for years longer than science expected. 
Sue was the vivacious and caring spouse of Thom Wilson; the warm and affectionate “mommy” of Julia Wilson and “mom” of Emma Ritter; the sweet, yet spunky, only sister of Mike, Dave, Paul, and Luke Seidman; the cherished daughter of Florence and Dan Seidman; and the advocate of countless children in her work as a developmental psychologist. 
Sue grew up in East New York, Brooklyn, but later traded the subway for Garden State Parkway, living in a quiet suburb where she could aqua jog (“ay-jay”) to her heart’s content at the local swim club and pick up dozens of books at the local library, all of which she would read. 
Sue loved walking, biking, nature, hard work, children, reading, reading to children, Jennie the cat, podcasts, singing, getting to flights really early, master-level knitting, and, above all else, her family and loved ones. She was selfless with every fiber of her being. There are no words to express how much we miss her right now, and always.
