Peter Anthony Ponzini, 80, of Saddle River, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jeanne Ponzini (née Pindulich).

Peter is survived by his two loving sons, Peter Ponzini (Jennifer) and Nicholas Ponzini (Lucy), and by his most cherished grandchildren, Juliana, Peter, Victoria, Valentina, and Sebastian, who brought him immense pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Peter was born on November 7, 1945, in New York City to Louise Ponzini (née Longinotti) and Celestino Ponzini.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 4:00–8:00 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, NJ 07661.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 88 East Saddle River Road, Saddle River, NJ 07458. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
