Marie B. Proietto (née Hanna), 91, of River Edge, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.  Beloved wife of Paul Proietto.  Loving mother of  Paul (Barbara) Proietto, Lisa (Damian) DiLauri,  Peter (Maria) Proietto, Mark (Lee Candelino), the late Lauren Proietto (2008).  Cherished grandmother of Monica (Michael) Wilson, Cara (Nicholas) Markgjonaj, James Proietto (fiancée Julianna Cangialosi), Emilee Proietto (Connor Walther), Anthony Proietto, Brooke Proietto, Peter Proietto, Jr., and great-grandmother of Dakota and Taelynn Walther.

Marie was born in Hoboken, NJ to Marie (née Marishock) and John Hanna.  Marie was an executive secretary at Chase Manhattan Bank, a sales lady with Manor Pharmacy of River Edge, and in the career services department for Eastwick College..  Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.  Funeral Mass Thursday, May 18, 2023, 11 AM, St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, River Edge.  Marie will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
