Margaret Fletcher (née Arlington), 102, of Wernersville, PA (formerly of Park Ridge and Ridgefield Park, NJ) died peacefully at her home on August 27, 2023 surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Henry Fletcher. Also predeceased by her sons, Robert and David, and her only sibling, Mary Murphy.
Survived by her children, daughters Jeanine Fletcher, and her husband, Sydney, daughter Suzanne Malloy and son Charles and his wife, Nancy; beloved grandchildren, Robert, Christine, Ian, Katrina, Jack and Grace Fletcher, and Jake, Matthew and Adam Malloy. Also, loving great-grandmother “Grey” to ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her tremendous love of family and friends, Margaret “Ange” to her husband, Harry, was a veracious reader and lover of the arts and travel. Although growing up modestly, Margaret ventured throughout Europe and Asia in her lifetime, even walking the Great Wall of China in her late 80s.
Remember Margaret for her love of life, family and mostly her devotion to her Catholic faith. Margaret has finally been granted her resting place in heaven.
Visiting hours will be held at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home in River Edge, NJ on Wednesday, August 30th between 3 PM and 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Oradell, NJ on Thursday August 31 at 10AM.
