Louis Mataras, age 62, of River Edge passed away on February 1, 2019.  Louis leaves to mourn his passing his beloved daughter Courtney (Bryan) DiMaulo.  His brothers James (Julia Ann) and Dean (Michele), cherished nieces and nephews, Philip, Stephen, Maryssa, James, and Michael, and his dog and best friend Buddy.

Born and raised in Jersey City, the son of Anthony and Mary (nee Chavos).  He worked as the Property Manager at Westfield Properties, Paramus.  Louis was a huge sports fan.  His favorite teams were The Mets, Knicks, and Packers.  He enjoyed relaxing and listening to his favorite band The Grateful Dead.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 5th, beginning at 5 PM and concluding at 9 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.  Interment of cremains, Wednesday, February 6th, 11 AM at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
