With great sadness, the family of Jeanne Claire Dignam announces her sudden passing on June 6, 2019, at the age of 69.
Jeanne was born on January 29, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of seven Jeanne moved with her family to River Edge, NJ. She attended St Peter the Apostle grammar school and graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy in Washington Township, NJ. Jeanne attended Fordham University and also attended and taught at City College of New York. She received her Masters in Chemistry from the City University of New York.
Jeanne worked as a chemist for four decades for employers such as the Public Health Research Institute and the City of New York. She finished her career as a Production Chemist for Instrumentation Laboratory in Orangeburg, NY.
Jeanne is survived by her sister Tricia Dignam and husband Glenn Enoch,brother George Dignam and wife Marianne Connelly, brother Mark Dignam and wife Laura Leopard and her beloved dog Luke.
We invite Jeanne’s family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to a wake and memorial, which will be held on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Beaugard-McKnight funeral home, 869 Kinderkamack Road in River Edge, NJ.
