Dorothea J. Boettger (née Perrotta), 93, of Dumont, NJ, died peacefully on November 16, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter E. Boettger (2013).  Survived by her devoted children, Linda Deardoff, Mary Ellen Mucciarone, Christopher, Peter, and Michael Boettger.  Cherished grandmother of Rebecca, Haley, Alicia, Alexandra, Heather, Lauren, Lisa, Dominic, Anthony, Paige, Steven, Morgan and Xenophon, and two great-grandchildren, Fiona and Rush.  Predeceased by a son, Gregory (2013), a brother, John and a sister, Grace.

Dorothea was born in New York City to Mary (née Scarvaglione) and John Perrotta.  Dorothea worked for a time at the Bergen Community College, Teaneck, but her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Funeral Mass Saturday, November 20th, 9:30 AM, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont.  Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.  Visiting Friday, November 19th, 4-8 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Rd., River Edge, NJ.
