Amelia P. Besa (née Pascua), 87, of River Edge, NJ, entered into eternal life on November 9, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Renato Besa (2025).  Loving mother of Roderick (Marie) , Maria (Jose), Aimee (Francis).  Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Jennifer, Kiana, Kayla, Rianne, Reese, Isabel, Francis Jr., Rouel, and Sophia.  Dear sister of Miguel Pascua and Candida Arguelles.

Amelia was born in Manila, Philippines to Socorro (née Diaz) and Benito Pascua.  She was employed as a medical secretary with the ILA Long Shoreman Union for many years.

A celebration of Amelia’s life will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.  Funeral Mass Friday, November 14, 2025, 10:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, 445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge.  Private cremation.
