Jane Ellen Williams, born on January 25, 1951, peacefully passed away on March 16, 2024. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Jane’s life was one filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. As a mother, she exemplified compassion, patience, and boundless love, leaving an indelible mark on her three children: Thomas Williams, and his wife, Leilani Williams, Kelly Derr, and her husband, Gregory Derr, and Michael Williams, and his wife Eva Williams. Her dedication to their well-being and happiness knew no bounds, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire them for generations to come.
In addition to her role as a beloved mother, Jane was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: TJ, Hailey, Mason, Emily, Olivia and Mackenzie , whom she adored with all her heart. She reveled in the joys of grandmotherhood, creating cherished memories and imparting wisdom upon the younger generations.
Jane was also a loving sister to her two brothers and sister, Frank Chabza, Thomas Chabza and Genevieve Chabza Holster. Their bond was one of strength and support, a testament to the enduring power of family ties. Together, they shared countless moments of laughter, love, and shared experiences that enriched their lives.
Jane was the daughter of the late Frank Chabza and Genevieve Zeiss Chabza.
Devoted Aunt to Tracy Ellen Holster Sereday, Daniel Chabza and Laura Chabza. Great Aunt to Juliette and Ryan Sereday.
Throughout her life, Jane touched the hearts of many with her kindness, generosity, and genuine spirit. Her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of days, and her compassionate nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her family, Jane leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and those whose lives she touched. While she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us to cherish each moment and to always hold our loved ones close.
Jane Ellen Williams will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before her, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
Visitation Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge, NJ. Funeral Mass Thursday, March 21, 2024, 10:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, 445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ. Cremation is private.
